Thin Rug Pads
Description
Eco-Grip, Non-Slip Rug Pad
- Prevent snags and slips by firmly securing your rug to the floor with our Eco-Grip Non-Slip Rug Pad. Made of a hand-washable and polymer coated textile that is derived from plant-based oils, the Eco-Grip Rug Pad helps to secure your rug to the floor to reduce wrinkles and prevent slippage. Eco-Grip's plant-based materials prevent the marring and staining of floors. An added layer of support adds a slight cushion that extends the longevity of the rug. Made of materials that are easy to cut and handwash, the Eco-Grip Rug Pad is the perfect choice to prevent rugs from slipping.
- Eco-Grip Rug Pads are available in sizes up to 12'x15' but are highly recommended for runners, minis, and area rugs (up to 6'x9'). Because these types of rugs have a smaller surface area than that of room-sized or oversized rugs, the Eco-Grip does an incredible job of holding the rug firmly to the floor. If you are in search of a pad for room-sized and oversized rugs, please check out our Super Movenot rug pads, which are made of a combined thin layer of felt with a solid, natural rubber backing.
If you are ordering rugs and pads in the same order, then we will presume that the dimensions of the pads must align with the dimensions of the rugs from your order. If your pads must be custom cut to dimensions different than the dimensions of the rugs in your order or if you are solely ordering a rug pad, please indicate in the Order Notes section the exact dimensions of the rug, so that our team can custom cut a pad for you.
All rug pads will be cut 2-3 inches narrower/shorter than the true dimensions of the rug because this will allow the end of the rug to lay firmly on the ground. This will prevent the ends of the rug from being too high off the ground and further prevent any tripping or slippage.
*Please note that maximum roll width is 12' and that all pads wider than 12' will be cut-to-order in 2 or more pieces.
Care Instructions
Clean spills immediately by blotting them with a clean sponge or cloth. It's highly recommended to use an appropriate rug pad on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushioning, and enhance durability. When vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has adjustable power settings, set it to low. Vacuum the full length of the rug, then turn and repeat on the next area, rather than using a back-and-forth motion.
